Head Sensei Master Bob DeAngelis has been
involved in the martial arts since 1980. He started his
training in Isshin-Ryu Karate, trained with Dana Abbott in
Chanbara , has trained in boxing and Kendo. He is a
Fourth Degree Black Belt in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do
and Certified through The United States Chanbara
Association, a member of the PA Referee Association,
Co-Owner of DeAngelis Martial Arts and a member of the.
He received 2013 Excellence in Teaching The Martial
Arts Award,2014 & 2015, 2016, 2017 Goodwill
Ambassador of the Martial Arts through The Action
Martial Arts Magazines Hall of Honors.
Sensei Bob DeAngelis has coordinated and instructed
Martial Arts Summer Camps for the Milton Hershey YRE
program. He has worked with the Hershey High School
Football Team on movement strategies at their Summer
Camp. He has donated his time to judge many
tournaments in the area and enjoys teaching children and
adults. Sensei Bob and Sensei Jan along with their
talented instructors have donated their martial arts skills
to many local girl scout and elderly groups along with
participating in South Hanover's National Night Out and
West Hanover's Festivals and Health Fairs.
Head Sensei Master Jan DeAngelis has been
involved in the martial arts since 1973. She is a Fourth
Degree Black Belt in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo
Do,President Lady Dragons Association, an Agent for the
National Security Alliance Kid's Safe Network, Certified
through the United States Chanbara Association , 2016
Certified through the CDC Bully Prevention Program,
Certified through FEMA Active Shooter "What You Can
Do" Co-Owner of DeAngelis Martial Arts Other arts
studied Isshin-Ryu Karate, Kendo, Chanbara, Tai Chi,
Cardio Kick Boxing and Hot Yoga. She has coordinated
Summer Camps for Derry Township Parks and
Recreation Summer Program. She has created three
new bo katas to aid her students in learning the
techniques of the bo (staff). Was awarded the 2015
Golden Lifetime Achievement Award by the Action
Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors. 2016, 2017
Ambassador of Goodwill to the Martial Arts
Sensei Richard DeAngelis has been involved in the
martial arts since 1995. He holds a Second Degree
Black Belt in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do. Sensei
DeAngelis has been instructing for over six years.
He is a Graduate of Vancouver Film School.
Master DeAngelis has studied a variety of East
Asian philosophies and martial arts since the early
1970's. He is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Moo Duk
Kwan which he began studying in 1987. He has
also been certified as an AWSDA rape prevention
His favorite saying is, "The greatest master of the
martial arts can destroy an enemy by turning him
into a friend."

Sensei Ebersole Head instructor for DeAngelis
Martial Arts, West Hanover Township location,
has been involved in the Martial Arts since 1989.
Other styles include Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido.
Through the years he has studied Tang Soo Do and
Moo Duk Kwan. He received his black belt in Moo
Duk Kwan in November of 1995. Sensei Ebersole
currently holds a Second Degree Black Belt Through
DeAngelis Martial Arts. Sensei Todd Ebersole was
awarded the 2015 Instructor of the Year Award
through Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of
Sensei DeGroot Instructor for DeAngelis Martial
Arts West Hanover Township Location.
He is a Second Degree Black Belt. He has trained in
The Sword Arts, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jujitsu. He
is a graduate of Thompson Institute. He is proficient
in traditional and non traditional weapons. Sensei
DeGroot is always eager to share his knowledge
with all age groups.
Sensei Ximena Grant and Sensei Ellen Wargo Instructors for

Association. Ms. Ellen Wargo is Vice President of the Lady
Ximena Grant is an amazing teacher for our young students.

Sensei George Clemens is a 1st Degree Black
Belt and Head instructor He also has a 1st
Degree Black Belt in Hapkido. Mr. Clemens is great
with people and has assisted in the development of many
of our black belts. He has instructed at the West Hanover,
Hershey and South Hanover locations. His energy and
dedication is appreciated!
Mr. Dan Brown is a 1st Degree Black Belt and instructor for
DeAngelis Martial Arts. Mr. Brown is great with people and
has assisted in the development of many of our black
belts. He has helped with Summer Camps and is always
there to help new students. His dedication to our school is
Ms. Laura King instructor for lil Dragons and Karate
Tigers Classes and Secretary of the Lady Dragons
Association. She is an inspiration to both younger and older
students. We appreciate her dedication to the arts.
Sensei Sharon Thomas Instructor for
DeAngelis Martial Arts She is a First Degree
Black Belt. She is great with all of the
children and is always energetic and
enthusiastic with all of the students. She loves
tournaments and has preformed at many
throughout PA. She also is an avid runner and
has participated in many marathons. She also
has participated in Kick Boxing Tournaments as
Andrew Brown Jr. Black Belt is an assistant Instructor for Lil
Dragons and Karate Tigers Class. This young man is a wonderful
instructor and Martial Artist. He enjoys teaching and working on his 2nd
degree black belt. He enjoys instructing and being a judge at our Battle
in Hershey Martial Arts Tournament.
Zach Brown Jr. Black Belt Instructor in Training for the Lil
Dragons and Karate Tigers is a wonderful asset to our martial arts
family. He, for such a young age, is an amazing instructor and is able
to help many younger students progress through their belts.
